Callaway ft-iz driver

Today I saw this club in a pro shop, and had to hit it. I favor a draw faced club and this one seems to be somewhat closed. It is a 10 degree with a voodoo 60-r shaft. I hit this club quite well but the shaft felt a bit on the spongy side to me. Tomarrow I am going to try the same club with a stifer flex. My question is I havent been able to find much out about this club. I do see that shafts can be changed quite easily. Also these drivers seem to be able to be pickup up for less than 100 dollars. Does anyone have any imput about these drivers? Is the face angle closed at address?

I currently use a 9° IZ with the stock stiff shaft.  Personally I love it I believe it is a touch shorter than most drivers which I feel gives more control.  As for at address The club head is closed slightly, but only a little and can be manouvered to your preference very easily.

I would definately recommend it great driver and you can get it for dirt cheap.

well, today I took the same club out with a stiffer shaft. The performance of the driver was not as good as the vodoo golf shaft. Golf shafts are so different from one another. The regular shafted club allowed me to work the ball a bit more. Definitly felt softer at impact also. My swing speed runs from 90 to around 98. I played yesterday with it and pulled more shots with it than any other driver I have had in the past. Now a pull is not good either. It has to be controlled also. But because I was hitting the ball a bit more square, I did notice a difference in the distance I was able to drive the ball. This should be a great driver. I need to give it some time, and practice with it. I am one of those guys who believes a driver is a very important club in the bag. But only if you know how to use it. I need to be able to slow it down for control on tight, and difficult holes, but also be able to let it out on some more open holes. I think if I give this club a little time it will be just great!!

They are a great driver, one of Callaways best i think , i have a 9deg with a prolaunch platinum, very forgiving , nice mid ballflight that just stays in the air. I wont even be looking at a new driver for a long time.
