I don't believe in deleting things like this. They hide the fact that he said them.

MrSandman has done enough now that he can spent a day in the clink.

What is worse: weed or racism?

Amazing Tiger's gotten out of there without being lynched. d2_doh.gif

In my regular bunch it is a common, very common occurrence. Heck I'm the youngest and I am pushing 50 and it is just a part of life, no different than having a beer. I am a member of a club where the membership is well over 50% military, retired military/ cops and never had a problem. Last year's senior club champ partakes as do a few of the others. To the ones who think that they could even tell... keep think that way. If I doubt that you will be cool about it you won't see it but up in these parts most people just don't care.

Can't believe that this is still a topic of conversation and that governments still waste resources on a problem that is only a problem to them.

Actually I'm not much of a user myself and I abide by the regulations the state has put forth concerning MMJ use and handling, I'm on the books as a caregiver. I do brew tincture for a dear friend with a rare esophageal condition that makes it difficult to swallow food. He needs inspiration to eat at times and when the far more dangerous drugs his pcp fail him that's all that works for him. However he's not crazy about the high part. How's that for a thread derail?.

I think that this is a great way to use marijuana. Smoking it is horrible. Such a good substance it is a shame it is not legal. I wish I actually could use it sometimes, much healthier than alcohol and less calories too!

I never believed the stories about the MJ brownies as i always smoked. Had some lovely bongs, in my day. Well, one day i had a big baggie and some friends were having a party so i donated. They were non-smokers of tobacco and did not want the coughing and respiratory nonsense.  So  they melted 2 sticks of butter and dumped in the goodies. Slow and long they simmered. Then strained to remove the seeds and the buttery delicacy went into the brownie mix and baked.  So good.  No loss of potency and no coughing and such. A fine way to go and i walked home happy that i shared.

Yup. I smoke on the course. But as with anything, in moderation and with respect for my playing partners. I play ready golf, follow the rules, wear proper attire and don't make an ass of myself.

Can't say it helps or hurts my game, unless more than a few puffs are taken in a short period of time then my focus will be a little off and my swing suffers a bit.

It's really all about moderation. I don't drink more than a beer per 9 holes, otherwise I'm no longer golfing, I'm drinking. Same goes with the herb.

I hope those that do smoke on the make an effort to keep it hidden. Especially if the group ahead or behind has kids in it. There's a lot of familes with kids on the courses these days. One of the places I play even has jr tees near the 150 markers. I'd be toast if I did it. The stuff makes it tough for me to do anything but veg. I certainly wouldn't get in my car and drive after that. Even if I had the entire round to chill out.

As one who does smoke on the course, we are very careful about who else is out there. At least I and the guys I play with are.

But you are not careful enough not to have a photograph of what I assume is your daughter as your avatar and admit that you take drugs on the golf course.

Unbelievable. Playing golf should be the drug. I feel sorry for anyone who can't get enough enjoyment out of the game on its own and fear for children whose parents think that taking drugs on a golf course is acceptable behaviour.

You might be revealing a little too much about your own culture, or lack thereof.

Please explain to us straighties how weed is a part of golf culture.

Well she obviously looks like she knows the internet like the back of her hand and refers to her dad as jetknicks1. The stick in your butt shorty has a stick in its butt. Do people follow you around on the internet everwhere you go?

As far as im concerned, if drinking beer is acceptable, so should smoking a joint be. As long as you arent blowing it in peoples faces or doing it in front of people who dont like it, I dont get the problem. Its not potheads I see acting like idiots on the course, its the drunks.

I have very rarely een it on the course. I have done it beforehand on thte way to the course, but never on it. I know a couple of people who I KNOW do it, but none that i've actually seen or smelled smoking it.

Shorty, as usual, is judging people on his own uneducated opinion. While I hope if I have kids, they prefer not to do either. But I would rather see my son come home and tell me he's a pothead than tell me he is and alcoholic.

I once smoked a six skinner before giving a private lesson. I encouraged the student to try to hear his wrist cock during the backswing.

SCARY!

Never did it again.

Are you referring to the wrist cock instruction or the six skinner?
