Do you guys wear sunglasses? If so what kind do u wear?

I have no idea what sunglasses I wear. They're a pair I got from Big 5 a while back for $30.

Maybe I'm just not good enough to tell the difference, but I paid $200 for fishing sunglasses and there's no way I'm buying another pair just for golf. I have tried reading greens both with and without and I'm still wrong either way.

Oakley Half Jackets with the XLJ lens. Mine came with an amber, grey and brownish rose colored lenses. So far, the brownish rose lens really makes the greens stand out - excellent contrast. I used to play with a dark grey polarized lens but like the non-polarized better for golf.

Maui Jim's with the rose lenses...I can read greens like bold print newspaper....best shades for golf, regardless of price...and I've tried dozens.

Oakley X metal XX with black iridum lens. got'em on ebay for half the price and i love them because of the sun and wind protection. my eyes water terrible on windy days and its hard enough putting without guessing which ball to hit.

I've tried the Nike maxsight as well. They don't cost much above regular contacts. That being said, I'm not a big fan of the gray tint recommended for golf. While they make greens really pop, and definitely help with the sun, I find that colors are distorted a bit too much for my tastes.

I use the orange tinted ones for softball and ocassionally for golf (I actually prefer them over the gray ones). If I had to play with sunglasses, I'd go with something like an Oakley jacket. I need something that sits close to my eyes, or at least has a bigger lens, so that I don't see the frames while I swing.

I have vision problems, so I have to wear sunglasses in the sun or I'll be in some pretty bad pain. I wear Oakley Half Jacket XLJ's with Transition lenses. However, that may be a bad thing because more often than not, I lose sight of my ball after launch. I'm reliant on my partner to spot the ball for me.

I'm going to look into the G30 lens and perhaps get a second pair of Oakley's that I'll keep in my bag just for playing golf.
