Well this thread may have finally helped me break out of my cocoon! I've posted a few times but nothing really substantial.

I have, many times, wanted to ask questions or even chime in but I guess I simply didn't want to mow anyone's grass or ask a question that's already been answered a million times.

Must say it actually feels nice to break the ice again, so to speak, as I plan to break 80 this year on regular basis (wishing hoping) as I'll have a lot more time to spend on the golf course this year with my new job (I get summers off) and a membership at a nice course near by.

So I know to break 80 there will be a lot of questions as to what I can do to improve.

I look forward to posting more and getting the chance to have some great discussions.

Cheers,

Lee

There are plenty of threads to jump into without needing any knowledge of anything.

Heck yeah Lee, I can make an ass of myself with the best of them. Fortunately Ernest is always there to make me feel good about myself...

I'll pass on the snow... We just had another 25cm over the past few days. It's actually been the second coldest winter EVER since they've been recording temperatures. Yeah, it's been that effing cold. Picture this: -30 Celsius (-22 Fahrenheit)  which has been a staples this winter and that's not including windchill. Our coldest day was -50 Celsius (-58 Fahrenheit) with the wind chill. We were even colder than the planet Mars on that day... Yeah, really here's the link to prove it http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/winnipeg-deep-freeze-as-cold-as-uninhabited-planet-1.2479967

So on that note I think I'll pass on shoveling your snow lol.

Kind of why I haven't posted much. I dropped my handicap last year from a 17.5 to a 14 but funny as it may sound, I don't feel like I "know" a lot more about golf. Which is something I plan to change this year.

Totally agree. That would be overkill.

Because often after I have read the earlier posts I just don't think I have anything to add.

I am new here and try to contribute when I feel I can. A lot of times the thread has multiple answers with my same answer. I don't want to be the 30th dude to say.... go to a fitter lol

Yep. Use this forum: http://thesandtrap.com/forum/newposts/filter/unanswered and you'll always be FIRST!

You could also repeat previous answers in a new original way, like in a scottish brogue: "gang see a fitturrr wee lad"
