Post if you are playing on the 4th and whether it's a special tourney or just out with your guys.

I am playing in a 3 PM 4th of July Scramble at a local course that is not where we play every week.  As such, the four of us agreed to play at 9 AM to warm up for the Scramble.  The scramble is $45/man and includes prizes & Bar-B-Q afterwards.

I inquired at our club, but no one was interested in playing a "game" on the fourth.

Let me know what ya'll are doin.

It's an option for me. Both of my friends are working, so there's not going to be anything to do.

To be honest, I hadn't thought of the idea before I read this topic lol

2013 Goal:

Single digit handicap

Grand cypress is a great trac!

We are playing both rounds at Quail Hollow in Wesley Chapel.

I just hope my wife doesn't get too upset...as I am taking her to Busch Gardens on Friday (our 16th anniversary) then to Kentucky on Saturday for a week to visit my sister.

I just found out they banned all personal and professional fireworks displays around the Denver area. Too many fires going on right now.

So I may just jump on as a single on the 4th, at my home course, and early too, like 7am. To beat the heat.

I'm the same as you. Can't ever get my friends to come play, all too busy working or family.

So I just joined this year, the Amateur Golf Tour sponsered by GolfWeek. I am in the Denver Tour.

Its really cool, and you meet a lot of good golfers. They have different flights for all skill levels. So you play and compete with people of your same ability.

They have these in a lot of cities, including your area. You play different courses, which is nice.

Pretty cool. Just wish they had something closer than a 3 hour drive that I could play in lol

Probably go out late. Should be slow in the afternoon with people getting ready for the evening, bbq's etc.
