I'm getting new wedges and I can't decide whether to get a 46*, 52*, and a 56*. Or a 46*, 52*, and a 58*. Tell me what you think.

Most people (including myself) start with the loft of their PW and then add wedges in 4 degree increments....so if your PW is a 48, then you'd add a 52 and 56 and possibly a 60...

In the bag:

TaylorMade R11 Driver (10.5 stiff stock shaft)

TaylorMade R11 3wood (15 degree stiff stock shaft)

Adams IdeaPro 3i hybrid (20 degree)

Titleist DCI 4-PW (photo)

Cleveland CG15 wedges (52, 56, 60)

Odyssey White-Hot 2-Ball (Superstroke oversize grip)

Bushnell Tour V2 Rangefinder

Ping Hoofer 2012 Bag

My PW is a 48*, a pro a the club I was a member of told me to get a 52, so I did, now I'm looking at a 56.

DCI Gold 3- PW(48*) + 52* Vokey wedge

56* sand wedge

spot on for me but I believe my pitch is a 47* but my distances are all about 10 yards and pitch is 15 above the 52*

I carry a 47°, 51°, 56°, 60°.  I wouldn't worry about what degree spacing so much as yardage gaps.  if you get a chance try out a buddies wedges and then see what kind of yardage gap you have between each club.  But as others have stated if you are just going on a general rule try to go 4-5 degree spacing.

    • Day 35, June 8. Before leaving for work this morning (yes, I'm posting this quite late relative to the practice), I spent 15 minutes practicing at home, into a net.  This time, it was primarily 9-iron (full swings), with some UW (full and half) and a few 6-iron.
    • Day 73: just some mirror work today. Working on feels for being open and getting the front shoulder down.
    • I'm liking this. Finally getting down hands in front of my trail leg pocket consistently at A6 with much better clubhead position (relatively not as tipped out). I can really pressure the shaft through impact with good face control  from this position and stay in balance. Won my first one v one march 5&4 against a 4 hcp who routinely drives it 35-40 yards past me in the men's club match play . Frustrated him with some solid iron play and air tight putting.
    • Day 279 6-8  Worked on low point control skills work tonight. will be doing this for a few weeks. Tonight was just trying figure out how to get low point forward.  No ball.
    • Day 8 (Jun 8 26) - Stayed the drill but added two additional irons (7i, 8i and 9i) - using Divot Board and hard foam balls - focused on tempo and purposed pause at the top….noticing how open the club is marking the board when I try to kill it and how much more square (and better distance) when I focus on these keys.
