Hi Guys,

Been using the new RBZ fairway woods, quick question to anyone out there with one in the bag, which one do you have?

I have used them both on the range and TBH im thinking to replacing my 910f 3 wood with the RBZ as it goes so far. Just trying to work out if you guys have bought the 5 instead of the 3.

Cheers, Todd

i have the RBZ 3 wood and yes it does go long and is easy to hit. a couple of times i have smashed this just right and hit it further than my RBZ driver off the tee. have hit it 240 off the deck to make those par 5s reachable in two and its easy to hit with a slight draw for me which is the shot i like to hit. best investment in my bag!

I got a Platinum Swing Analysis at Golf Galaxy, and non-driver RBZ are now in my bag. (RBZ driver = dud...)

I replaced a 15* 3W with a 17* High Launch 3W (hey, it's a 4W). I also got a 5W and a 7W, but turned in the 5W unhit. The RBZ 5W was 19* and the 7W 21*. With 1" shaft length and 4* loft difference between the 4W and the 7W, distance difference was only about 15 yards, so I dumped the 5W.

4W has a lighter shaft and +2* loft difference from old 3W, but goes about 10 yards farther and is easier to hit.

7W has turned out to be a magic club, especially from shaggy or chopped-up lies.

(Also have RBZ 4H as bridge into my irons.)

Focus, connect and follow through!

Awards, Achievements, and Accolades

I picked up a RBZ driver 9.5 stiff, the 3 and a 5 woods.

I have the driver turned down to 8* , I was getting the best spin rates on the launch moniter with this setup and was averaging 265-270 carry...

I think the 3 wood and 5 wood are great, it actually took me a little bit to get used to the 3 wood, but I have played a few over 54 holes with the set now and love them. I am definitely more confident with them...

there is a short par 4 on the course I play regularly, its about 265 to the center of the green but there is a creek/water hazard (about 10 yards wide) in front... and it's about 230 to carry the creek, and the opening is about 30 yards wide, with ob right and trees and the creek left. so far I have carried the 3 wood at least to the front edge every time I have played the hole, flew it pin high today... i have played the hole 4 times sense getting the clubs... good thing Debby went through and made the greens soft otherwise I would have been over the back...

Not sure if any of that helps, but i like them both and find the 3 and 5 fit nicely, the 5 probably leaves a 15 yard gap between it and my 3 hybrid.
