What are some good Forged "Muscle Cavity" Type irons

I'm looking at the Taylormade TP MC irons, as well as the Nike VR Split Cavities, but I don't know many other clubs that are forged and sort of have the same look/feel as those clubs.

I am buying on ebay, trying to get a set of irons for $400 or less.

Any suggestions?

I'm selling a set of Titleist 735.CMs on eBay right now. I love them, I just don't swing fast enough with my irons for stiff shafts. Other than that, they're a dream. Not sure if that's exactly what you're looking for, but they are a very quality set. I'll send you a link to the craigslist ad I have, I have more pictures on there.

Hogan Apex FTX's are nice sticks if your swing is decent.

I hadn't planned on selling mine (which are in hibernation in my basement), but if you're interested PM me as I have a lefty set in great shape.

Not exactly new, but the 2006 Macgregor m565 muscle cavities are great clubs. Might be difficult to find in lefty

Newer and easier to find

Bridgestone J36, 38, 40

I'd suggest looking for Mizuno MP-62's and 63's.  Going to be tough to find TM MC irons for $400

Here's another good one  for the right price

Just took a quick look on Ebay.

For left handed forged muscle cavity iron sets under $400, I see lots of Titleist AP1 and AP2, Callaway X Forged, Nike VR pro cavity,

The Callaway Razor X forged are going for just over $400

I didn't think Bridgestone made clubs for us lefties.

If you're serious, check out golfavenue4u (or something like that). A Canadian ebay seller. Tons of Canadians are lefty golfers and hockey players.

I was gonna say Bridgestone, but you are correct, no left handed clubs. What about Titleist?

Link is to Titleist club archive. About 1/3 of the page sound like what you are looking for.

I'd suggest at that price range the Titleist 710 CB or Mizuno MP-57's.

Here are some older Mizunos that are forged, cavity, stiff.  And the price is right!

OP: Buy these! If they were righty I would have already bought them at that price.

Thanks again everyone! I ended up getting a set of Taylormade TP CB's on Ebay for $400. I decided that a nice forged cavity back would still give me some forgiveness but have more feel than a traditional cavity.
