I recently played 18 and shared a cart with my uncle (lefty) and somewhere during the round one of his clubs banged my 3 wood and I now have a small dent on the top of it. It didn't break the paint or anything, just about 3/4 of the way back toward the front there is a dent now.

I am pretty sure this won't effect play, however it is somewhat distracting. Other than getting a new 3 wood does anyone have any bright ideas for fixing it? I highly doubt that I can get it repaired similar to how they do at body shops for cars, but any suggestions would be nice.

I brought up that Uncle John is a lefty, I don't know if that has anything to do with this or not, but I've never had this sort of thing happen before. I don't always replace my headcover after hitting the shots. I will certainly start doing it now however.

Thanks.

I'm having a hard time visualizing how one of his clubs could have hit the top of your 3-wood at all, much less hard enough to dent it. I would recommend against letting your uncle run loose in a china shop!

i dented the bottom of my driver when i topped the ball practicing at the driving range. i've considered using one of these to try and get it out. but i'm not sure if it would work or not.

I had a same situation before but for my driver. I went to the car repair store and they were able to use some vacuum machine to pop it back up. If there are paint damages you can use the same paint as what they use on the car... The driver performed and sounded fine after that...
