I have a 7 index, and have played the R9 for the past 3 years.   I absolutely love it.  but its getting old, and I've been looking for replacement.  It seems that every new driver I try out doesnt have the same feel, forgiveness, and workability as the R9.  I've given the R11 and R11s a shot, as well as the Callaway razr Fit, the Ping I-20, and the Titleist 910d2.  none of them seemed to have the same feel as my R9.  I like a stiff shaft with a mid kick point, and doesnt have too stiff of a tip.  I hit a lower ball, so I like a little flex in the tip.  anybody offer any suggestions?

thanks everybody

I was going to say the R11 or R11s but seeing how they have been tried already. I went from the R580 xd  to the R11 and it took some getting used to.  Ping Anser or maybe Cleveland CG black might be worth a go.

If you aren't concerned about it being new, maybe try the Supertri (high spin) or the Superdeep (low spin), if you liked the R9 so much.  I used the R9 Supertri for most of this season and it was pretty decent when I installed the proper shaft for my swing.  I have since upgraded to the 910D3 though, for the independent loft/lie changes and lower spin.  I won't be looking back any time soon (or ever).  If the R9 you have is working so well for you, why do you feel you need to change it?  "If it ain't broke, don't fix it".

When you tried the R11 series, did you take your own shaft in and try it out?  Maybe the shaft in your current R9 is a better fit for you than what was in the R11.  The R11s has a sound that is different though, some like it, some don't.  A friend I golf with has one, and it's loud...

I've went through many of drivers over the last couple years tried vrs pro Mach speed black and r11 but this year I bought the rocket ballz tp and absolutely love it I'd recommend spending some time testing drivers out or demo days at your local courses but a word of advice working at a golf shop don't believe the simulators usually jacked up a bit
