How to remove labels on shafts?

I have these annoying stickers on all of my clubs and I wanted to know if anybody knew of a good method of removing them that doesn't damage the graphite/steel shafts? (Prefer if you have tried the method first)

I usually use a blow dryer. Just be careful with the graphite shafts.

WD40. Just DO NOT get it on the grips.

To clarify, first peel off. Use WD40 for the adhesive that is left.

Would soapy warm water or wall paper stripper not work if you are careful not to get it on the grip?

GooGone.

3M adhesive and wax removal. Get it at body shop supply shops

I use the solution I get in my grip kits to take off stickers.

Rubbing alcohol is pretty handy for this. Took the sticker with the barcode off of my wedges fairly quickly.

Heat it up, peel it off then clean off with nail polish remover, acetone or even lighter fluid.

What I ended up doing was putting some goo remover on a paper towel and rubbing it on the sticky area then drying it off. It worked great.

Peel the label / sticker and use Goo Gone. I put the GG on a paper towel to wipe off the remaining glue. Comes right off.

I know the OP has already responded with a success story, but I'm also in the Goof Off and paper towel camp.

I just removed the price tags off my clubs essentially I just removed the stickers by my hands fingernails then removed the sticky adhesive with some baby oil as advised in another post worked well and looks much better.

Almost anything oily will do; WD40, terpentine etc. I also use an industrial sticker remove, but don't get that on your grips...
