Hey Guys,

I have been a long time viewer of the forum so I figured I might as finally join.

I am out of Orange County and have been golfing since June 2011.  Pretty much got hooked after going back then and now I play 1-2 times a week and hit the range 2-3 times a week.  Current HC is a 10.7.

I have played Taylormade clubs since I started but last week decided to switch my burner irons out with some Titleist AP2's.

Current bag:

Taylormade Burner 2.0.  Motore F1 85 gram shaft cut to 44-inch.

Burner 2.0 3 wood and hybrid.

Titleist 710 AP2's with KBS tour shaft cut 1/4 inch and Winn lite grips.  3 degrees flat.

Taylormade xft wedges 50, 54 and 60 degree

Taylormade DA-12 Tour putter

Sky Caddie SGX.  Best purchase i made and really helps with course management and track my HC.

I am actually going to go purchase the new 913 driver and 3 wood later this week so my bag will be updated.

I play San Joaquin golf course a bit if anyone is every around let me know.

Happy to join !

We are setting up a little TST get-together/tournament in December at Mile Square if you are interested.  (There is a thread on that group dedicated to it ... check it out!)

    • Day 35, June 8. Before leaving for work this morning (yes, I'm posting this quite late relative to the practice), I spent 15 minutes practicing at home, into a net.  This time, it was primarily 9-iron (full swings), with some UW (full and half) and a few 6-iron.
    • Day 73: just some mirror work today. Working on feels for being open and getting the front shoulder down.
    • I'm liking this. Finally getting down hands in front of my trail leg pocket consistently at A6 with much better clubhead position (relatively not as tipped out). I can really pressure the shaft through impact with good face control  from this position and stay in balance. Won my first one v one march 5&4 against a 4 hcp who routinely drives it 35-40 yards past me in the men's club match play . Frustrated him with some solid iron play and air tight putting.
    • Day 279 6-8  Worked on low point control skills work tonight. will be doing this for a few weeks. Tonight was just trying figure out how to get low point forward.  No ball.
    • Day 8 (Jun 8 26) - Stayed the drill but added two additional irons (7i, 8i and 9i) - using Divot Board and hard foam balls - focused on tempo and purposed pause at the top….noticing how open the club is marking the board when I try to kill it and how much more square (and better distance) when I focus on these keys.
