Currently have a Taylor Made 580XD driver and looking for a new driver. Tested a Big Bertha 460 driver; looking to see if anyone has any comments about that driver

Thanks

I currently have the BB460 and I love it. Very forgiving on off center hits. The huge head gives me a lot of confidence at address.

I’ve also been looking for reviews on this club but not much to find I guess. I bought the X460 instead. Was happy with the price on Callaway preowned clubs and the Big Bertha 460 isn’t there yet.

I was on a golf trip back at the end of May, and the first day I was hitting my driver like absolute...well, I was hitting it bad. We were playing 36 that day, so after the first 18 I came to the same conclusion any golfer would: had to be the club!

I had noticed in the pro shop that they had some demo clubs in there, so I went back in to see what they had in drivers. I ended up using the Big Bertha 460 for the second 18. Personally, I loved it. Now granted...I realize it was my swing that day; just wasn't working. There was nothing wrong with my driver of course...but the Big Bertha was working much better, which means (to me anyway) that it's a very forgiving club. I loved the look of it at address. Some might not. And, it was very solid feeling. Almost walked out with one that day.

If I were in the market for a new driver at the moment, I'd definitely put it on my final list.

WHAT'S IN MY BAG

    • Just want to share a quick update with everyone. I went to the range the week before last, even though I took it easy no significant pain occurred just a slight twinge when I swung my #4 hybrid. The most encouraging news was no soreness the next morning. However I think switching back to graphite shafts is definitely gonna happen, my mp15's were fitted with X shafts and having something lighter will help.
