Ahina + Anser = low trajectory with reduced spin. Dropped over 1k rpm on spin from this.

Didn't want to start a new thread so I'll ask here:

Are there any players on the tour who DON'T use the latest equipment and just stick with the model from 5-6 yrs ago? I'm happy w/ my Titleist 905R and have tried a couple of adjustable drivers and can't get the ball flight I like nor is the distance improve.  Are the pros all using the latest drivers out there or do they stick w/ some of the older equipment?

Yes.  It was a few years ago now so not sure if it's still true but there was one titleist player (can't remember if it was Bill Haas or Webb Simpson) who used an iron they hadn't made anymore.  695 mb or something??

I also noticed that when Titleist came out with the 913 drivers that it seemed like 100% of their players used the 913 headcovers, but not all of them switched to the new club right away.  I think Stricker even used a 909 last year still.  It also seems really common with fairway woods ... if the golf digest "whats in the bag" feature is any indication.

I want to say Zach Johnson stuck with the 755 irons or something well past when Titleist started making them, but I'm not positive.

Tiger just took his old Nike SQ 2 5-wood out of his back. That club was from 2008ish.

He's lucky he didn't loose body parts, I heard Elin has a wicked slice.

Uh oh. I'm going to make it into that spelling and grammar thread, aren't I? :-p

I can edit any post at any time, so I'm usually able to fix my spelling mistakes. Not when two people comment about them though. Y'know, I could delete your posts as off-topic, destroy the evidence...
