Lamkin Show Us Your Grips Contest - Page 2

 

I am a total believer in the Lamkin OVERSIZE - I regrip all my clubs with this grip.    I've convinced both my brothers & a coworker to go with them too.    Mine are 2 years old &have ~ 220 rounds on them & are getting "slippery" ... would like to change them out over the winter with nothing other than the same Lamkin grip ... no need to try anything else.

Here's the grip on my Driver. Golf Pride Tour Wrap Mid-Size. They seem to hold up well, except where my thumbs rest! I need new Lamkin grips!

 

 

 

 

Here is a current picture of the original grips on my beloved Mizuno MP-14 gamers that I play twice a week, on average.  The MP-14 model was last produced in 2000 so that tells you their age!  Here is why I can use new Lamkin grips in 30 words or less:

 

My slick OEM grips cause me to grip them progressively tighter over time and may be adversely affecting my swing.  Also, my natural draw may indicate incorrect grip sizing.

 

I need some superglue to keep these clubs from flying out of my hands. Hockey tape seems to help a little on the one. Need new grips!

I have the Lamkin R.E.L. 3GEN grips on the set of clubs I currently game and love them!

 

But I could really use another set of grips for a Ping Zing set that my Pops uses when he plays... I feel bad for him because every time we play together... His hands are black - and it ruins his golf glove! Hahahhaha

My brother's Wilson Pro-staff grips out of the bag after moving into bigger house (2nd baby was born).  It would be a great Christmas present to replace them for him.

I needed new grips at the beginning of the season. Now I have played over a hundred more rounds and still didn't change them. This is my Vokey 60. It is getting so slick that I am soon going to be able to use it to shave with.

Dang, was hoping to win the grips for the person (my brother) who accelerated my passion for the game.  I played my 1st round of golf with him and he gave me my 1st set of clubs.  Congrats to the winners.
