9 am is perfect, we can all go have lunch afterwards.  (Well, at least those of us who don't have to prepare for a night of chick-picking-up)  ... Or is it "chick-pick-upping?"

Just myself... I was just curious. Although there is an outside chance my brother might be joining us for AimPoint if that happens.

It'd be cool if he came to the 5SK on Friday, but he NEEDS to stay for the AimPoint on Sunday (if that is still on).

He gets to attend AimPoint free because he already went to one of them. So he should be at both sessions...

Handicaps

80% your handicap index (we'll compile a list of handicap indeces by about March 24th or so). So if you're a 16.1, that's a 12.88 and you might get 14 strokes. We'll round to the nearest whole number. Mike and I will get zero strokes, and are eligible for the team prizes but not the individual prizes. Tristan is eligible for all.

Format

Modified Stableford

Double or Worse - Nada

Bogey - 1 Point

Par - 2 Points

Birdie - 3 Points

Eagle - 5 Points

Better - 7 Points

Winners

- The winning team is the team that amasses the most points. Each member of the winning team will hopefully be awarded a small prize.

- The highest point earner on the winning team will receive a bigger prize (which we have already).

- Ties will be settled by a closest to the pin competition if that's possible, and if not, in a putting match, the duration of which will be one hole with all team members in the event of a team tie and nine holes in the event of an individual tie for the individual prize.

Thanks Erik, this is going to be lots of fun.

Want to list the signups so far for the 5SK and AimPoint.  We will be doing pitching in the 5SK school and it could be the most "eye opening" part of the day.  Deadline for prepays are March 22nd.  

5SK at Van Buren Golf Center at 9am Friday April 5th - Four students so far- Golfingdad (+2) and Tristan

AimPoint after golf on Sunday- Three students so far- Tristan (+1) and Pakoh

I know others have let me know they are interested, again these prices are ridiculous so it makes sense to take advantage of us   If you haven't gotten the special pricing info, please let me know and I'll send it to you.

Nice, this will be a lot of fun!  I just hope, for his sake, that Mr. 37 doesn't end up in a tie for first place for the individual prize.  Things could get ugly.

FYI, its DOWN from 40-something....gonna try to get a few rounds in before we play, but I'm actually THAT BAD. Hence why I offered to buy myself a beer

This is open to any TST member (and friends) whether you're playing in the golf tournament on Sunday or not. Seriously great pricing. You know those half off sales? Well both AimPoint and the 5SK/Pitching schools are better than that. So... yeah.

LOL ... sorry, I should have been less vague.  I wasn't referring to you.  I would consider it highly bad form to make fun of somebody's ability prior to meeting them.  After April 7th, however, it's on!

Sorry about the misunderstanding, just an unfortunate coincidence.

I was actually referring to Beachcomber.  If you'll scroll up to my post #188 you'll see where it came from.  You see, his last round he shot a 79 (which is fantastic, don't get me wrong!) but he did it with 37 putts!  37 putts!!!  So I told him that, from now on, I think his nickname should be "Mr. 37."

Which is why I made the comment regarding Erik instituting a 9 hole putting playoff in the case of a tie for the individual championship.  "Mr. 37" will have a heck of a time winning a putting playoff based on recent performance. ;)

Oh, forgot about "Mr. 37" Just saw your post on the heals of mine and went, "Hey, my 37 cap is legit..." No harm, no foul.
