Views on Nickent 3dx DC hybrids? Need input ASAP

I am in need of some hybrids and I can get a heck of a deal on the Nickent 3DX DC hybrids.  I know they are older models but for the price I am interested.

 

It is the following clubs:

 

Nickent 3DX DC Hybrid Pack, includes 4 total clubs #2(17*), #3(20*), #4(23*0 and #5(26*). Clubs are fitted with Grafalloy Hybrid Stiff flex shafts and Tour Velvet style grips.  

 

  1. Are these hybrids a good brand and model?  I am about a 15 handicap but I swing my woods pretty well.  Getting better at my irons.  Gonna replace my 3 and 4 irons with hybrids and also use the 17* and 20* to replace some woods.
  2. Have the newer models of hybrids from varying manufactures changed so much over the last few years that it has made a huge difference in the clubs?
  3. Have you or anyone you know said anything about the nickent hybrid clubs?

I've played these for several years.....both the 20* and the 24*. I've only recently transitioned to a titleist 910 for the 3.

I firmly believe that the Nickent 3dx is one of the best hybrids available at nearly any price. At the price you can currently get them, they're an absolute steal!

Have been using Nickent 4dx 20 and 23, loved them. Happened to acquire a 3dx 17. With a narrower face than the 4dx models I did not think I would like it but it has now replaced my 3 wood off the tee and fairway. My favorite club. It is so sweet to hit

I purchased the set and I am excited to get them.  Have to wait until I can hit up a virtual range before I can give any feedback since I live in the great white north!

They have great on the simulator, haven't been able to hit them on the range yet because of the weather in the midwest.  I have been very happy on the simulator so far though.

I have an RC and DC Ironwood. They are FANTASTIC hybrids. I had to re shaft one of them as the stock shafts was way to whippy for me but the other one came with an awesome Proforce V2 shaft.

Depends on which Grafalloy shaft and whether that shaft has the right flex, kick point, torque resistance, and weight for your individual swing...Same is true of any shaft brand.

I have a couple of 4DX hybrids and think that they're terrific. I have friends with the 3 series and they're big fans too.  I went to a website to look for a third 4DX and found the loft and flex that I was looking for with a "Grafalloy shaft".  I asked which one and for the specs and was told "all it says is Grafalloy".  No sale, Dallas Golf.  Be sure that the shaft meets your requirements before you buy.

Yeah the grafalloy shafts in them I haven't been able to find any info on them. The ones with the nv shafts are supposed to be great.

Mine both had the 75g stiff NV shaft, and it was a great shaft for me with a pretty moderate swing speed.

I am not sure how well they play yet simply because I have not been able to play them much yet.  I plan on upgrading the shafts eventually and getting fitted for them.

I use to have those hybrids. They were amazing for the price. I first learned to hit a hybrid on those clubs. Definitely recommend.
