1984 H&B Power Bilt Century Irons

I have in my possession a set of irons, (3 to 10), H&B Powerbilt Century 1984, which are a limited edition set to commemorate the centenary of Hillerich & Bradsby. They are 1 of 1000 made. They have 0627/1000 stamped on the hossle of each iron. I have played with them, but very rarely so they are in very good condition. I do not use them anymore.
Could anyone give me a ball park figure as to what these clubs are worth, and any information on them please.

Powerbilt has a pretty good name in the early 80's so if in good shape they probably have a little value. Best place to look is ended auctions on eBay. You may have to go back into some history but I am sure a few are there. There are a crowd of golfers who still like to get their hands on the older equipment.

Without seeing a picture if you want a guess I would say $150-250.

     They are only worth what someone will pay for them. Looking at prices online can be misleading because just because someone is asking a certain price does not mean they will get it. It also may lead to disapointment if you cannot find someone who will pay what you want for them. 

     Your best bet would be to put them on Ebay and see what you can get.  I looked around a bit and I think 150 is probably pretty accuate maybe more if they are in mint condition but you would most likely need to find a collector to get that price because there are a lot of great iron sets you can get for around $200.00 that are newer and more playable IMO. You could also try the marketplace on TST since it is full of avid players and knowledgeable buyers who would be willing to pay fair price for a classic set of clubs. Good luck.

Thank you mchepp and thank you CanuckAaron. Your posts are very much appreciated. I reside in Manchester in the UK, so I'm not sure if me advertising them on the marketplace on TST will be viable.
I think I will just put them on EBay at a starting price of 99p. I'm not sure about putting a reserve on. What do you think?
