I have been trying to find a nice, easy to use device to record my swing while playing on the course. I came across something called swingshot (swingshot.com) on thedanplan.com . I was wondering if anyone knows of any other products for recording that won't make me look like menace on the golf course.

P.S. I have considered just buying a regular camcorder and take it around with a tripod, but I'm looking for something more integrated, and not too pricey.

The swing shot looks interesting. But it only does 60fps. An iPhone 4S or newer you can record and use apps to film at 60fps. Then just get a protosports holster for $30 and attach it to an alignment stick. I used to film my swing with my iPhone for over a year+. And it helped me quite a bit. Now I'm using the GoPro Hero 3 Black which can film at 240fps at WVGA. And that is perfect for me.

I'm tired of swinging and putting on my carpet.
