I swear by my good old fashioned Lamkin Crosslines. They're a bit like tour velvets, but a seemingly heartier version.

Best combination of good grippiness without being sticky, and long lasting durability. Cheap too.

I have the tour wrap style PURE and have no complaints.

These are what I have as well.   I wiped them off after every round and cleaned them about once a week with a little soap and water and they retained their tackiness throughout the whole last season of play.   But I would not recommend them for playing without a glove unless you have already built up some calluses on your hands.
