I'm no expert by any means, but it appears that your lower body is breaking down way too much. I use ZachAllenGolf.com to fix my swing. He's great - visit his site.  He does a lot of stuff for GolfTipsMag.com

But your upper body (turn, take-away) look very good - I'm sure a pro would really like working w/ what you have there.

Thanks Rick!  You nailed it.  Ever since I first started hitting balls almost 8 months ago, I have had issues with my lower body.  Believe it or not it's actually gotten much much better over time.  For the first few months every shot I hit I ended up stepping out of it because I had such poor balance.  I know I have a loooong ways to go.  Also my hip turn is not optimal but that ties into the flexibility issues and lack of balance.

I've been Playing Golf for: almost 8 months (first time I hit a golf ball/played golf was June 2, 2012)

My current handicap index or average score is: official usga/maryland golf assoc. handicap is 15.5 and my unofficial handicap (includes offseason scoring) is 14.6

My typical ball flight is: depends on the club.  Driver, woods, and hybrids all cut and sometimes they cut too much becoming a slice.  My irons are usually straight to a slight draw and my miss with the irons is push/block to the right.

The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: Driver woes.  Used to be a better driver of the ball and did not used to have slice issues until a few months ago.  I'm working on fixing that and believe that over time the ball has crept too far forward in my stance with the driver and my grip has weakened to compensate.  Also my left wrist was cupped at the top of the backswing which led to a difficult transition and thus I was coming over the top and slicing.  As you can see in the video I am trying hard to keep my left wrist flat to bowed at the top of the backswing which will allow for an easier transition and will allow me to come from inside out.  I'm also trying to keep my right arm "connected" and closer to my body.  I've pushed the ball back in my stance with driver and have also strenghtened my grip and it seems to be helping but it's still a work in progress.

Jeez - you're doing very well. Hope someone can assist you further. You already have a good swing that just needs a little tinkering/adjustment.  Looks like you're hooked up to some Golftec gear - have they helped you any or was that just a diagnostic?

It was just a diagnostic.  Thanks for the kind words.  I think I am on to something though......I am trying now to stand a bit closer to the ball and to make sure that my hands hang down more vertically instead of being "pushed out".  This seems to allow me to have an easier turn to the inside which means more hip turn (which I desperately need!).  By doing this I find it much easier to get my left wrist into a flat or bowed position which in turns allows for an easier transition.

I've noticed that sometimes I come from too far inside though and will either have a bad hook or a complete block to the right.  If I can just work on straightening this out I think it will give me more consistency and a better ball strike.
