JPX 800 AD driver

Hi Guys,

Thinking of buying this driver. Took a few practice swings, and while it doesn't seem to have the distance i am able to get on the R11, it seems to be less punishing on my miss hits. Shaft feels very light and whippy.

 

Anyone using this driver?

Great driver.  Its very similar to the JPX-800 driver that Mizuno sells here in the states.  Just make sure you get a stiffer shaft than you normally get because shafts in Japan are weaker than here in the states, even if they are listed as the same flex.

Humm it looks quite different from the JPX 800 driver. It has a far larger head, which is elongated. Does this help a beginner golfer, like me?

The driver itself is quite cheap its selling at 60% discount off retail price. I haven't seen the JPX 825 driver yet, to compare, but would not purchase that one since its new and probably for more expensive.

The elongated head should help you hit the ball higher.  If you want a higher driver ballflight, that may be a good thing.
