Problem with the Birdie Ball

So Im out shakingoff some winter rust today hitting some birdie balls around and I had a problem. These damn things were impossible to mis hit Everything was right where I aimed and perfect. I dont think my swing got that much better after a break. Anyone else noticed how straight these balls fly?

No.  The reason I love the BBs so much is that I feel they give excellent shot shape and solid contact feedback. I've found a very high correlation and clear mapping between the shape of my BB shots and the shape of shots with real balls.  I've found that if I'm swinging with a big ugly cut even with a PW that the BB will show solid fade movement.

You've had them for a while and used them a fair amount?  You have to remember that a five yard slice with the driver on the BB is going to fade/slice way more off line in absolute distance than that same swing with a real ball.  But that's just because the real ball is going 5-6 times as far!

Ive had them for 6 months or so. I must be hitting my irons pretty pure then because everything was extremely consistent. I dont usually hit the birdie balls witht the driver.

Only caveat, if you're hitting them with a moderate or stronger helping wind straight down the target line, everything will look very close to straight.  Opposite hitting them into a moderate+ wind, where everything looks like a ridiculous hook or slice that balloons and ends up 15 yards away.

If it was calm that day then I'd say you were just, surprisingly, really on despite the winter break!

** Note, I am not affiliated with BB in any way.  I just really love mine.  I feel they give really great shot information (great shape info, good height info, and decent contact info), and they've allowed me to be able to afford and have the time to practice way more than I used to be able to.

No real winbd besides I was hitting from one side of the park to the other then walking over and hitting them back. What has been your experience hitting hybrids and driver with the birdie ball?
