I've been on both sides and see the value of hiding that info.

 

Yeah, for Buyers or people interested in purchasing one, that info would be a tool to not overpay.

 

However, from a Seller's standpoint it's protected information that I personally wouldn't want shared. The Seller might be in a pinch when the first Best Offer was accepted but not when they list the others. The other Buyers would point to that other sale expecting the Seller to meet or beat the previous selling price.

 

Typically I don't buy stuff off of Buy It Nows or Best Offers. Most merchants want full retail on Ebay and just keep relisting the item over and over til someone buys it.

Well Guys Thank you for your help and expert information!   I had many watchers and 5 bids. 3 were rejected because the were under $3000

I think I could have maybe got more but  I got $3150 from a great buyer who paid almost instantly. So I took it, not bad for a machine that sat in my closet for 4 years.

 

Also the buyer filters that were suggusted by you guys were extremely good and made this process smooth

 

Thanks again and You guys make this site worthwhile
