I've been Playing Golf for: 8 Months
My current handicap index or average score is: 112
My typical ball flight is: Draw
The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: Slice/Hook
Hi everyone my name is Chris. I have been golfing since last summer and have played two 18-hole courses so far. I have been told that I have a pretty fast SS but have not measured it. I can normally hit a driver 250 yards of carry if I can get it to go straight. My typical driver miss is a slice or hook lately. My irons are either a nice little draw shot or most of the time a deadly hook. I have been working hard since the start of the month and am determined to break 90 by the end of the year. My putting and chipping is much better then my full swing and gets me out of trouble most of the time. It's getting to the green that is my problem. I am most comfortable with my 56 and 60 degree wedges. Any help or advice will be much appreciated. I am a fan of S&T and the 5SK's, which have helped me with my progress.

This turned out to be a pulled shot. I drove this ball about 240 yards. My driver is all over the place. I mostly hit either a nasty hook or slice with it. I've been working on moving my weight forward but my back foot still seems to be down during impact and my arm is chicken winging it.
This is with my pitching wedge. I can usually hit it from 120 to 145 yards. I hooked this shot. I noticed that my head moved a lot but can't seem to figure out if thats the main reason for my hook. I know I probably have many other issues.
Thank you in advance for your time.
