On average what clubs do you use /not use for a typical round - Page 2

My 7 iron almost never sees the light of day. The head of my original 7 iron flew off into a range, never to be recovered so I bought a demo Ping G10 7 iron to replace it. I hate the thing, can't stand the wide sole. It easily twice as wide as my other irons and every time I look at it I just think of some big fat ugly chick. I'm a high capper but big fat sole just don't work for me.

There are many days that my driver never makes it out of the bag.  I'm terrible with it - awful - feel free to insert appropriate pejorative here.  Can play 3W plenty far - but that didn't stop me from buying a new driver this last weekend!  I suppose hope does spring eternal.

For me, it's usually my 52* GW. I remember going through two consecutive rounds and I didn't even pull it out. Not even at the range. The most used club in my bag besides my putter is, oddly enough, my 56* sand wedge. Mostly because I only make about 4-5/18 greens and my sand wedge is my go-to club for chipping, pitching, sand shots, etc. 

I'm a precision player rather than a feel so prefer to take a solid swing at anything of 80 yards and over and I have a club for any yardage.

I'm a reasonably long hitter so 3W off the tee probably on 12-14 holes a round. Driver on a couple (but have played rounds without it completely) and whichever iron is appropriate for the distance on par 3s.

Love my 3W off the fairway on good lies and use the hybrid from 200-220 yards or shorter shots from the rough.

Because I get good distance off the tee and don't play PGA length courses I'd say my approach shots are usually 6-PW. However I still do get the 4 and 5 irons out especially if I'm on a 180-195 par 3.

Use my 56* a lot.

Reckon least used club are 4i, 5i, 50* Gap Wedge and 60* Lob Wedge, however I've built my bag to have specific purpose/distance in any situation so there's no chance I'd be taking any of them out (except I might try a hybrid iron to replace 4i to see if I can close gap between my 5i and my 3 Hybrid).

For some strange reason, I rarely use my 9i. And, depending on what day it is, I may have a round where I don't hit my 7W.
