Yeah I've noticed that the shouters are out in full force this year.  It use to be just with Tiger but it's gotten contagious.  I'm a Howard Stern fan so it's funny to hear "baba booey!" a few times but jeezus I don't need to hear on every damn shot.

Baba Booey was funny the first time.  It immediately went to Mashed Potatoes status faster than Mashed Potatoes did.

They have something called the Owl's Nest sponsored by Hooters at the #17th par 3 here in Tampa (next weeks PGA venue). 

 

In some ways the PGA asks for this type of behavior.

 

Wished the networks would mute the mics immediately after a hit to keep the crap from coming into our livingrooms.

They do ask for it...and they get it. I would be embarrassed if I was running a tournament that got criticized on national TV. Let's put a bar 150 feet from the 17th tee/16th green and advertise a party.

People should be asked at the gate if they're Howard Stern fans.  If they reply in the affirmative they should not be allowed to pass.
