I've wanted to walk off sometimes, but I never have, and I'm not getting paid millions of dollars to play a game. I don't think the obligation is debatable. Suck it up, Rory.

What a baby.... Number one in the world and he walks off because he is playing bad. Nice example he is setting right there. Makes me feel bad for the monday qualifiers and non exempt guys who couldnt play becuase Rory was in the field and he had a temper tantrum and walks off... I used to like Rory..

Walking off the course after 9 might have seemed like the right thing to do at the time, but I have a feeling he'll regret it.

He should regret it. Bad form.

Did Wozniacki break up with him? They were saying on ESPN that he wasn't confident with his swing, which I suppose you could say about any pro golfer that can't break 40.

What a gonk show!

I had my wisdom teeth out in January and spent a week zonked out on pain meds, yet I still think I could have gotten around in less than 42. :-p

he wasn't on TV this morning with his early tee time, so only people at the tournament were watching.

FWIW, Villegas is +7 today.

Also, a separate thread has been created for Rory talk.

Nice,  I had two wisdom teeth pulled last May, so i know it hurts if there starting to get impacted, but i feel like wisdom tooth pain could have been the easiest excuse to pull off for the rory camp, and if his tooth did hurt. He would of been shoving the typical sign of tooth pain...oh well.

Like I said, The media tried to make a big story out of Rory and Tiger....and now Rory has withdrew from the Honda Classic.

Man, let these guys play and stop trying to force stories before they even swing the first stick!!

Rory is taking a beating here. The guys walking inside the ropes with him were not buying the tooth pain excuse. I was joking that he went home and is grinding the Titleist logos off his old clubs and painting swooshes on them.

Meanwhile, Tiger teed off 20 minutes ago and Golf Channel doesn't pick up the coverage for two more hours. a4_sad.gif

What about NBC? I thought they picked up the stuff the GC didn't have? I'm at work or I'd check myself...

It's a weekday. Generally, Golf Channel does all of the coverage on weekdays, then on weekends GC starts the coverage and they throw it to NBC later in the day.

Live@ on PGATour.com does have coverage of the 3rd and 9th holes, so I'll subsist on that for now. I'm watching Sean O'Hair right now wearing green-screen green shirt and pants. If he did the weather you'd just see his head and shoes.

Yeah, but has anyone done the numbers?  I'm curious how close Tiger might get with a win (or at least a top-5) this week.

Edit:  Looks like Rors still has a commanding lead, but some of his points will drop off this week when his 2012 Honda win gets devalued.

On the par-five third hole, DJ just bladed a bunker shot and fluffed a pitch on consecutive shots.

sounds like me.

TGC sucks during the week with live coverage.  i mean last night whenever they were finishing up at 6pm EST the only people left on the course were a bunch of no namers. much rather watch TW at 1pm EST start his round than Horatio Porschnaple finish his round at 6pm.
