The difference in your impact position is truly inspiring. Hopefully the scores will start dropping very soon for you

I appreciate that.  Unfortunately there is very little golf left in the season for me to find out.  The good news is I have the winter to work on it and I have a good feeling about everything for next season.

Yes there is always next year. Must be annoying have what, like 6-7 months of the year where you cant get out on the course? At least in the UK it be rainy and overcast but you can at least play for 11 months of the year usually.

Yeah seven months, and if we are lucky we will have eight. :)

It will also help me with low point consistency and hitting the ball higher.  You can pretty much see this in the photos.  I have to fight a few bad habits but I will be able to correct them pretty quickly with some hard work and make it consistent.

If you don't mind me asking, what is the difference in feels or swing thoughts from the picture on the left to the one on the right?

Just what is written at the bottom of the picture for the most part.  I won't get into what my exact feels are too much but the words below the photo are a pretty nice description.  I will just say the feels with my arms are slightly passive and the lower body is more active in the downswing.  It is all about what happens on the way down as the difference in those two pictures.

Practiced some short game and AimPoint before playing a few holes as well.

Are you hitting it that much further? That picture on the right is amazing by the way.

Maybe up to 10 yards with the irons.  I will know more when I play on a warm day.  This morning I hit an 8 iron as far as I was hitting my 7 all summer.

Wow You give me hope to one day be a single digit handicap.

I plan on seeing you at scratch or +.5 by mid summer, 2014. Excellent work and dedication man. Still bummed we weren't able to get that round in while you were up here. Next time...

We could always meet up when I'm in Chicago/Schaumburg next month.

Thanks Slice.  I would be overjoyed to be even close to a one something by that time.  I will keep working on the swing through the winter and time will tell.

Definitely, just send me a PM sometime when you are coming and we can hopefully meet up and get a round in.  There are some great courses down there.

Sounds good. I'll be there for two weeks in early October.

Perfect. Hopefully the weather cooperates. I'll be in Schaumburg during the weekdays, and Chicago on the weekend. Oct. 7th through the 17th or something like that.

Just a couple miles north of Medinah, what do you say we go...ah that's not going to happen.  :-)

It looks like there is a nice county course nearby there.  Highland Woods.

At the range for lunch today.  Gave myself two shots at each angle to see if I am sticking with it or regressing.  Pretty happy for the most part.  Head dipping back in the FO video...back to work.  Hitting the ball much higher and farther.  Miss is now a slight little push cut.
