Swung my newer 1979 Ben Hogan Blades... The weirdest thing ever, felt like I was swinging a fishing pole.. I couldn't figure out where the clubhead would bottom out at. Felt so so whipped.hit a mixture of cayman and regular golf balls.. Pleased with the results. A higher hard turning draw..instead of low bullet draws that I hit with my tzoids 96 irons. Felt like the club was whipping around everywhere,,really threw me off..but cool though. I had to really pull back on my right hand with these...or else the face was slamming dead shut. No forgiveness with these, I'm sure ole ben was laughing somewhere
A little sloppy today...little flippy impact.,, Back to some more pitch/ punch shot impact feels. Once u are a flipper..have to monitor it for the rest of your life. My sign something was wrong, was how my body felt so out of balance. Usually out of balance for me means slightly steep/ flippy... It is ok..I learn more and more about myself each day I practice
Here is tiger I see you are working on the hips well they move up and down and not through notice this guy and he stands up the shaft against his chest arms and shoulders and the hips just match the shoulder angle. Our hips do not rotate or move in the horizontal they do in the vertical so left one is going up as the right one is going down and the coupling point of the hands stands it up and BOWS THE SHAFT AFTER IMPACT. If your trying to be a sweeper good luck nobody in history swep the ball even moe had to take some divot its HUMAN IMPOSSIBLE TO SWEEP and rotate hips the FLEX front to back up to down SHOULDERS ONLY ROTATE. Hope this sheds some light and some help. Do what everyones not seeing or doing like me they want the hips to rotate but the don’t they flex they want to swing up but we don’t we swing down one flexed hip and up another flexed hip or through the other one. The shaft must stand up and go straight up from there. This is why tiger is best ever this simple understanding of the tool and not using his hips in the horizontal if one knew the hips they would never say trying to get them through they would say using my hips properly as pistons in the best ways they flex and stretch. Only the ASS AREA ROTATES AND THAT’S WHAT CAUSES THIS UP DOWN THING THE ASS AND ITS MUSCLES. Im glad to see you working on you and I believe you are improving in your understanding of you great job that is the point.
