Great way to finish a high school career, but how gutted do you think the other kids in the playoff must have felt? I mean, I would hope they respected what an awesome shot that was. Still, I have to believe there's that feeling at the pit of their stomach when it drops...

Why devastated? We all lose at times. I'd much rather get beat by a great shot, than by throwing up all over myself!

Agreed.  That's the way to lose.  Devastating is when you lose with a triple bogey to the other guys double bogey.

Nothing you can do about an ace but smile and congratulate the guy.

When you make a shot like that on your final high school hole, you've got to just drop the club and walk away, right? That would be awesome.

That's a good point. I didn't see it from that perspective at first, but it's true. You just have to tip your cap to a great shot in that situation.

I agree totally. I'm just thinking the gut reaction has to be, "Are you kidding me?!"
