Building a Driver

So i have decided to customize my own head/shaft/ grip combo for my new driver. I need a low launching shaft so i think im going with an aldila RIP Alpha 70. I stay loyal to golf pride new decade multicompound grips so thats locked in as well. My questions is about the head. I dont know what to go with, i was leaning towards the 910 D3 head but im not so sure now. If you had to go with something what head would you guys go for. What has the most pop?!

Hi there, I have a similar setup to what you were thinking of.  I would suggest either of the 910 heads paired with an Aldila low/mid launch shaft.  The D3 offers a bit more workability than the D2 but launches lower.  I have the D2 head with the Aldila RIP 60 and hit the ball high but that's my preference.  The D3 head would produce a more piercing low/mid ball flight.  I can't really offer help on other heads aside from the 913 isn't much of an upgrade from the 910 (not a bad thing!).

Well i need it to be low, my ball ballons really badly so thats my reaasoning switching to a new shaft/head combo.

Alright, if your wanting a real low ball flight then the Aldila RIP shafts aren't for you, I would reccamend something like a Diamana whiteboard in a D3 head.  The whiteboard might be pretty expensive though.  UST Mamiya makes great inexpensive shafts check them out.

I know what you mean, your best option would be to find your local Titleist rep or go to a Titleist fitting day and try out different shafts in the D3 head.

Stick the 7C3 shaft in your R9 or grab the 910D3 head
