Good grief he is probably wearing nike's version of boat shoes... Next will hear about how he only uses one side of a Q-tip.

Media constantly uses Tiger to increase hits on websites.  This is a non-story as are most stories about Tiger.

Wow this is getting ridiculous.  But, like mentioned above, it seems the media will write anything about Tiger because it will generate the most buzz...even if it isn't news at all.  People wonder why Tiger isn't the nicest person in the world...well stuff like this probably doesn't help the cause.

Besides, Flip-Flops aren't the greatest footwear for boating, either... I think, since his feet are dangling over the side, he has lace up shoes so they DON'T FALL OFF.

I say we use this as the official "Tiger Rumor Mill" thread and use them up before the media can....

Mine is "Tiger is now banned from bathrooms since leaving the spent roll of toilet paper and not changing it." When asked about it, Tiger stated it was like that when I got there. He also went on to state that it was probably Sabbatini and his fiber diet that used it up.

That article is blatant trolling by GD. Unfortunate, and if they were going for humor it was a swing-and-miss. (I don't like wearing flip flops either.)

I knew Tiger was a jerk and this proves it!  This also lays to rest the Masters controversy (he obviously cheated) and the Players drop controversy (again, cheated) and the Sergio spat.  Clearly, based on this new information, Tiger is 100% to blame and Sergio is not a baby.

Seriously though ... I get that gossip places bother with crap like this to fill space and get links, but Golf Digest?

What a joke, the guy have more money than god he can wear anything he wants how is this golfing news.

Next will be he wipes his ass with his left hand and not his right, and the golfing world will never be the same because of it. If golf digest has gotten to this point they should use pop-ups next.

I don't think it was an attempt at humor by Golf Digest, I think they are just using Tiger to get traffic to their site.  Crazy that someone felt the need to snap a picture of Tiger fishing with his daughter and send it to Golf Digest, who then decided to create a story around it they felt was gossip worthy.

I guess it never occurred to them that a positive spin of Tiger spending his down time with his daughter would be newsworthy.

I don't blame him, I don't like sandals or "flip-flops" either. Especially on men, some guys needs to keep those sasquatch toes hidden.
