Cincinnati Bengals. If - and only if - they can all stay out of jail this year. Otherwise, New Orleans.

Steelers. But c'mon, everyone's just going to pick their favorite team.

The Bungles? No way.

id have to say either the patriots (which i obviously am going to have a huge bias for) or the chargers. the patriots had a tremendous off season, and barring a holdout by asante samuel; seem to be in the best position to win. THe chargers on the other hand are imo the most talented team in football up and down the roster. The colts lost too many people in the off season (and i hate them). Ya the steelers could be dangerous this year, big ben is the x factor for them

Forget it. That's going to start a war. You and I both know about that cheap shot at the end of the 2005 season where Kimo took out Palmer's knee...

I've even got a "Pittsburgh Sucks" towel.

You don't get to claim some moral high ground about "starting a war" (as if you're trying to avoid it - "forget it") and then spew off about B.S. "cheap shots." You apparently know as much about the short game as you know about football if you think that was a cheap shot. The refs - and the head of referees - and even Carson Palmer himself have said it was clean. The only people who argue that fact are Bungles fans who are just happy to complain about something other than their players getting arrested.

Kitna has always played better against the Steelers than Palmer, so I was actually sad to see the weenie Palmer get carted off. Kitna led the Kittens to two quick TDs after Palmer left. Then the Bungles fell apart as they always do. As I recall, the Steelers also beat the Bungles last year to knock them out of the playoffs despite having a coach that mailed it in all year long.

Pats are winning this year-not sure that Samuel will be that big a loss-more than half of his INT's were thrown right at him-when will people figure out that it really is the defensive system that makes a lot of these ok players more successful than they would otherwise?

I am pulling for the pats. I am really curious to see if Moss will return to the receiver of old with the B + B system. Tom plays great with no superstar receiver, if Moss can get back to it there could be some huge numbers this year. Most importantly a shiny silver trophy...

ahhhhh....it's nice to see so many Pats fans out there. Since I've lived in New England half my life I am a little biased.

I think the combination of Tom Terrific and bad boy Randy Moss will be too hard to beat.

If the Pats and Samuels come to an agreement on his contract -Look Out!

Rams, Jacksons gunna have 2300 rushing yards and bulger won't throw an interception all year. Easy divison, good running back quaterback wide reciever combo + plus a restored defense 14-2 again.

There is no reason to even guess before the midway point of the season, and even then it is a crap shoot.

If there is any truth to history, my Bears are in for a rough ride this season, but I have hopes because they have returned most of their team, they drafted well and are in a piss-poor division.

The Lions aren't that far away..I know this will get a chuckle from a lot of people...they need a true franchise quarterback...Kitna isn't the answer and needs to go...they always have had good young talent. If they can work hard to develop the young studs they have and get a few "star players" they may be only a couple years away from being a contender...

The problem is that they have been "not far away" for a long time. They keep overpaying to keep their own guys. Corey Reding is a nice player, but should not be the highest paid defensive tackle in the NFL.

I do like Stanton, the rookie QB from Michigan State. He is strong, tough, moblie and a great leader. If Martz stays a while I think he could be a keeper.

not that I believe in this, but according to alot of Ravens fans (which I'm not) if they don't win the SB then the Redskins will.

reason is, the 3 most hated teams Ravens fans have are: Steelers, Colts, and Skins (see where I'm going with this) 2 yrs ago the Steelers won the SB, last season the Colts, this season the Skins......

And being the Skins fan I am, I like that.......

    • I've played Bali Hai, Bear's Best and Painted Desert. I enjoyed Bali Hai the most--course was in great shape, friendly staff and got paired in a great group. Bear's Best greens were very fast, didn't hold the ball well (I normally have enough spin to stop the ball after 1-2 hops).  The sand was different on many holes. Some were even dark sand (recreation of holes from Hawaii). Unfortunately I was single and paired with a local "member" who only played the front 9.  We were stuck behind a slow 4-some who wouldn't let me through even when the local left. Painted Desert was decent, just a bit far from the Strip where we were staying.

    • Honestly, unless there's something about that rough there that makes it abnormally penal or a lost ball likely, this might be the play. I don't know how the mystrategy cone works, but per LSW, you don't use every shot for your shot zones. In that scatter plot, you have no balls in the bunker, and 1 in the penalty area. The median outcome seems to be a 50 yard pitch. Even if you aren't great from 50 yards, you're better off there than in a fairway bunker or the penalty area on the right of the fairway. It could also be a strategy you keep in your back pocket if you need to make up ground. Maybe this is a higher average score with driver, but better chance at a birdie. Maybe you are hitting your driver well and feel comfortable with letting one rip.  I get not wanting to wait and not wanting to endanger people on the tee, but in a tournament, I think I value playing for score more than waiting. I don't value that over hurting people, but you can always yell fore 😆 Only thing I would say is I'm not sure whether that cone is the best representation of the strategy (see my comment above about LSW's shot zones). To me, it looks like a 4 iron where you're aiming closer to the bunker might be the play. You have a lot of shots out to the right and only a few to the left. Obviously, I don't know where you are aiming (and this is a limitation of MyStrategy), but it seems like most of your 4 iron shots are right. You have 2 in the bunker but aiming a bit closer to the bunker won't bring more of your shots into the bunker. It does bring a few away from the penalty area on the right.  This could also depend on how severe the penalties are for missing the green. Do you need to be closer to avoid issues around the green?  It's not a bad strategy to hit 6 iron off the tee, be in the fairway, and have 150ish in. I'm probably overthinking this.
