I had them briefly earlier this year. I bought the CB's used but in great condition. I bought them because I heard good things about them and because I was improving my game and getting better, I needed to go to a stiff shaft (my first set of irons were TM Burner Plus but were regular flex shafts).
I only had the TM Tour Preferred CB irons for a few weeks though....I bought them in late January of 2013. I needed stiffer shafts. The clubs themselves were fine but the staffs were too stiff for me. Thus instead of paying a lot of money to reshaft and because they have a great resale value, and because I got a great deal on them to begin with, I was able to trade them in at GG while only taking like a $20 loss. I then tried out irons and ended up getting the TM R11 irons. Their stock stiff shaft was a KBS shaft which I liked a lot better than the Dynamic Gold stiff shafts that were in the Tour Preferred.
I loved the way the TP looked and when the shafts fit my game on the R11's, I got them right away since the R11's look a lot like the TP. I have been playing with the R11's since February of 2013. I like them a lot. My game has continued to improve as well.
My advice to the OP: make sure you try them out before you buy them. The heads of the club are fine but make sure they have the right shaft for you as not all shafts are the same (meaning that the stiff Dynamic Gold 300 were much stiffer than the KBS Tour stiff shafts). It may not make a difference for you but for me it made a huge difference. Hope this helps. Good luck!
