Just curious what do you find more critical to your game Mid- long irons or short. Irons on in I'm about a 10 handicap I have good days and bad I just started hitting driver this season and I have found my last 5-6 rounds I am hitting driver Then 8-9-pw sw etc. the use of 5 6 7 irons and hybrids have really come to hault I usually hit driver then 5 wood then short wedge. Really want to improve my driver and move back to blue tees just curious what you find a typical round involves with your clubs what is not being used. I played a round today and 3-7 iron never left the bag.

Just like BostonBrew stated. Learn to hit them all.  Each course you play will be different.  At my home course it is like 2 different courses.  The wind either blows to the north or the south.   We hardly every have a east or west wind.  So depending on the day I use different clubs.  I also play alot at another golf course and I use different clubs there as well.  As you play more golf at other courses you will learn to play every club in your bag.  If you see that you need a certain shot always at your home course you might change clubs out, but pros don't even hardly do that except at a major.
