Any help is greatly appreciated. A little info: recently been working on quiet wrists and keeping the angle. I am getting pure strikes on line but very high. I know I am hitting down on the ball, but ball flight was very high. I assumed I was staying back when I hit so I was hitting a little up. Tonight I decided to emphasize the weight shift and in doing so I began to feel a real stretch in my left side. My weight shift is a little more pronounced now, but if I don't feel that stretch, my balls rocket up. Am I hitting too steeply on the ball causing more back spin again? The difference is astounding. My drives were about 230 and would drop like a rock on the last few yards. With stretch now I am getting more like 260 with roll included. Much more penetrating. Ball position for driver is just inside left foot. One thing I have really been working on is keeping back foot on the ground and pushing off on insole, which I think has contributed to my staying back. Any drills I can use to work on this stretch feeling?
