Hey guys, I'm looking to purchase a driver from ebay and found a good deal on a Nike Dymo 2, but it is a senior flex. I'm not really sure of my swing speed, but I'm not that big of a guy and judging by the average distance of my drive I by no means hit the cover off the ball. Will the senior flex work for me? If not how much does it usually cost to get a replacement shaft?

Thanks

I recently converted my driver, 3W, 5W, and 7W from regular flex to senior flex.  In all cases I am getting substantially longer distance and better accuracy.  Now that I am age 76 and my swing speed is (probably) on the low end, this has made a difference for me.  I don't what it would do for someone with a higher swing speed.  Just FYI....

Golf shafts are like women - some play a lot better than others. I use to have all regular flex, I tried out a close-out sale Cobra driver at the pro shop one time with a Mitsubishi Basarra senior flex shaft - striped it right down the middle. It was $125 and I was able to get matching 3-5-7-9 woods on eBay with the same identical shaft - and I can take a really good whack on occasions with no ill affects. When I got the driver, Golfworks wanted $250 just for the same identical bare shaft.
