I will be getting my first golf lesson from our club pro. I'm self taught so I have no idea what to expect. Is their any suggestions you can give me to help be prepared? What can I expect him to cover?

Thanks.

I'm assuming with a 20 handicap you know the basic fundamentals of golf so really it could be whatever you make of it. Anytime I've had lessons I've had the pro ask me what I want to work on and go from there. I think of it this way, you're paying for lessons why not work on what you feel your weaknesses are? Lessons are not cheap.

I'm  inconsistent with my driver, plus I seem to blow up with my irons on a few holes. After I hit one in the woods with my driver, the next drive is usually straight down the middle.  With my irons I seem to just loose it (shank) and it's hard to get back to par golf. I played today and shot a 89. my putter and chipping is the only part of my game that I'm happy with.

I'm playing next Tuesday and Thursday, then the lesson Friday morning.

I'm very stressed out over my round today!

Thanks guys!
