Ok here's my weird problem. I'm a noobie at golf and I have 3-pw irons, 3 and 4 wood and driver. I can do a full swing with my irons really well but I'm having trouble hitting my woods and driver. What kind of hybrid would help me?

A prius, that way it won't cost much to drive to go see an instructor.

Seriously, you cannot buy a golfswing, trust me I've tried. If you cannot hit driver and woods you simply need to learn how, buying something different won't offer any long term solution. I assume your handicap is not 18.

First of all, you have a common problem. The longer clubs (driver and FWs) often take beginners more time to learn than irons. The longer shafts take a bit of getting used to.

It may sound strange, but the driver and FWs must be swung smoothly to get the best results out of the clubs. You need to allow time for the clubs to get to the top, and then allow time for them to reach the ball. Timing is especially critical with these longer shafted clubs.

Years ago I was testing a driver on an early launch monitor. One reading this LM gave was swing tempo (time it takes from start to finish of swing). The player's rep at the store noticed something interesting after I had hit a dozen shots. When I had a swing tempo of 1.6 seconds, I averaged 15 yards longer on the drives than when I only had tempo of 1.4 seconds; also, I hit the ball straighter. So, smoother swing (and more complete backswing) let things fall into place better.

You might consider a lesson to see if you need set-up adjustments or have timing problems with the longer clubs. Later on you can look into hybrids.
