I've never been to Chicago, nor have I had real Chicago style pizza.  However, I do know that my wife and in-laws (New York born and raised, all of them) would suggest that Chicago style pizza is not, in fact, pizza. ;)

Whatever you call it, it looks delicious to me and I would love to eat some.  NY style pizza is delicious as well!

Oh, you silly Californians. Chicago's not even seven hours from here. We're not flying.

I was born and raised in NYC and I've been to Chicago and had thick crust pizza at Uno's, Gino's, etc... and I loved it. I live in Manhattan and I can't for the life of me tell you what "real pizza" is. All I know is I eat lots of these doughy crust things with tomato sauce and cheese on top. The only downside of thick crust pizza is because of the crust, it takes extra time to make so plan in advance if you want it fresh.

LOL ... impossible ... it's 3 states away!!  My parents drove and met us in Montana, which is the exact same distance away (assuming you are measuring in "states") and it took them 3 days!!!!!!!!

And speaking of non-golfing vacations ... Yellowstone National Park is a fantastic one just for the sights, and for the fishing if you're into it.

Also went to Cancun last year with the family without the golf clubs ... another great time!!

Yeah, any doughy, crusty, saucy, cheesy things are good in my book!  (And they're pizza too!)  Well, except when they're calzones, which are even better!!

No joke, I ate at a place recently that had "inside-out calzones." They were literally just pizza.

LOL.  You just gave me a great idea.  Upside down upside-down cake!  It's gold, Jerry!  Gold!!

I'm trying to think of more.  Half-baked twice-baked potatoes, maybe?

I dunno, thats all I got. :)
