Hello from Indiana!

Hello everyone!  Just thought I'd post a thread to introduce myself.  My name is Rob and I live in Indiana.  I have been playing golf for the better part of my life.  I remember when I was really young and my father would take me to the driving range.  Man did he hit it a mile...or so it seemed.  We weren't members at the private golf course across the street, but I would wait until dark and hit some drivers from my yard and finish up around the putting green.  Long story short, the Golf Pro did not like me so much.

I played in many local tournaments as a child but never placed extremely well.  I also never made the golf team in high school.  I have never been an extremely talented player but I enjoy the game nonetheless.  I chased a dream and eventually graduated from the Golf Academy of America in Myrtle Beach, SC.  I landed an Assistant Golf Pro position at a private golf course in Indiana and later that summer became the Head Golf Professional after the Professional accepted a position with the PGA in Florida.

I was the Golf Pro the following year, 2012, until we closed down for winter.  Unfortunately a Management Company took over the club for 2013 and wanted to hire a PGA Pro, which I was not, and demote me to the Assistant.  I did not accept the position.  So here I am, working as a Customer Account Representative for an unnamed company.
