Hi. I have just bought a new Adams Speedline Super S adjustable driver and was wondering if there was a 'best fit' setting on it for my golfing drive. I tend to hit a decent 230-250 yard drive with a 30 yard fade which about 10-20% % of the time turns into a savage slice. Yes I know my slice will be down to some technical flaw but the driver has a few settings and was wondering if anyone knew which one would suit me best and reduce the chance of a slice?? http://www.adamsgolf.com/products/drivers/speedline_super_s.php# the link has all the different driver settings on it. Thanks!!!

Might want to try starting with the face closed and working on coming more from the inside until you start hitting hooks and then work on being able to hit it straight with the face more neutral until you develop a sligh face or draw.

Whats in my :sunmountain: C-130 cart bag?

Generically, I would have you start at 10.5 standard lie and see how that goes. If the ball is coming off low then close the face (adds loft) and the opposite if it launches too high. I don't really know what the lie angle does for the driver seeing that it is really such a low lofted club to begin with. What I do know is that closing the face at set up is not a cure for a slice, it will just give you an artificial pull or pull fade (slice) unless you address your path issues. Some guys have hooked faced drivers and play a pull fade and then hit a 3 wood off the course because they play it square. Finally, I would take an inch off the length if you can't hit it and put on a lighter grip to compensate for swing weight. At 46" the shaft is just exaggerating swing flaws. Good luck and enjoy figuring it out.
