How much weight do I need to add to a short putter?

So i currently game a Ping Anser 2 cut down to what I measured as 30"(I may have measured it wrong but its about there). I plan on adding some weight to it to restore it to standard swing weight. How much would i need to add? I also plan on putting the some towards the toe to encourage the turning of the face as i have a fairly wide arc. What percent of the weight should i orientate toward the toe?

thanks

Just mess around with it, find what feels good, there is no wrong answer.

It's probably more mental than anything. Just put the ball in the hole.

The correct answer is as much as you can fit on it :-P  Both in the grip and the head.
