Hello Everyone,

My names Anthony I am 29 years old and from Pickering, North Yorkshire. I started playing golf again around 4 months ago.

Previously I played for a few months about 8 years ago, having recently taking it back up I have been having lessons and playing regularly at various local courses in the Teesside / Ryedale area

I am new on the forums having just found this wonderful site but will be trying to take part in conversation where I feel I can add something to it. Look forward to chatting to you all.

Greetings from Connecticut, USA. We just had the unique opportunity to invite two young ladies, one from Aberdeen, and one from South London into our home. They are both over here for your "Camp America Program" as we are involved in Girl Scout Summer Camps.

They were both very intelligent and fascinating to talk to in the evenings. They both thought it odd that we watched BBC America, after the local & national news, and were fascinated with American TV shows (the ones we can't stand to watch).

The girl from London spent a week with us, and the girl from Scotland spent two. Luckily the Aberdeen Tournament was going on while she was with us and she got to see her homeland and then showed us on the Internet what that area looked like. And her father plays golf also.
