I am a 37 year old, 5'7", fairly decent athlete, former baseball (and softball) player with 20 handicap. Callaway is my favorite brand.
A couple of years ago, I purchased a Callaway Big Bertha Diablo Driver and 3 Wood.
- My driver is 13 degrees High Trajectory Draw with "A" flex graphite shaft.
- My 3 Wood is labeled "3 D" with a "S" flex graphite shaft. (The loft is not marked on the club but I think it is 18 degrees.)
When I bought them, I did very little research and mostly just picked them because they were on sale. I had no idea what the D or HT meant. I did want a higher lofted driver though, which went into my decision to purchase.
I hit both of them pretty straight and keep them in the fairway, but my distance is not what it should be. So, are my driver and 3 wood suited for my physical stature and golfing ability? Thanks. I will hang up and listen.
