New from Middle TN

Fairly new to the game and really enjoying it so far. I grew up in FL and have clubs down there, went to the range but only played one round about 10 yearsago. My brother in law recently needed someone to play with, so I said if he had a spare set of clubs I would go play with him. Really glad I did, managed to shoot ok and even got 2 pars(we won't talk to much about the other holes). So 2 weeks go by and we play again and this time I can't hit the ball to save my life. Somehow this is how I became hooked. I refuse to go down like that and can't wait to put some time into this game and really enjoy it. Now I just need to get my clubs back from Fl or get a new set!

Currently living in the Smyrna, TN area and can't wait to get to know yall and learn as much as possible.

thanks, I haven't played it yet, but plan on practicing there alot. We were getting a groupon in Franklin for 18 and a cart for 15 a piece so that's where we ended up playing

In case you ever decide you may want lessons there is a 5 Simple Keys instructor at the Stone River Country Club named Rob McGill.  He is a solid instructor and has very affordable pricing.

I have a brother in Cookeville. He and I are the only ones left as two of my other brothers passed away earlier this year. Gene used to golf, but he must be about 87 or 88 years by now. Two of his boys also live in the area, one has a "mountain pony" mini  ranch. I should probably go back there soon.
