I've noticed that recently I've had a numb left thumb after practicing (even when I'm just hitting pitches) for the past couple of weeks. I was just wondering if anyone else has this, and what may be causing it. I've eliminated grip pressure, as I specifically kept that light today, but I'm wondering if it's just the vibration of the club.

Are you injured? It may not be from golf. Get the hand checked out if it persists.

Well, it's continued throughout the day. I'm not sure what I would've injured my hand doing, because I haven't been stepped on by our cattle or horses recently nor slammed it in a door or something.

Hey man,

Just wondering if you found out what your numb thumb ended up being caused by and whether you've had any ongoing issues? Last couple of nights after hitting a decent volume of balls in my golf net, the tip of my thumb has been tingly/numb afterwards. And after last night it hasn't gone away overnight either...

It feels strange hitting balls while it's like this and really want to be able to catch it and deal with it early if it's a sign of something more chronic potentially developing.

Thanks for your help!

I have no idea what caused it. It stopped happening after a month or two of my thumb going numb every time I picked up a club. Still not sure what exactly it was, but my thumb appears to be fine now.
