I am going to be fitted for a shaft around december and im looking at the OBAN kyoshi purple and am pretty sure that will be the shaft i choose, but i am also getting a new head. Currently all i can think about it the titleist 913 d3 as apposed to my rbz tour. Wondering what you guys think though! what heads would you recommend/ use?

I play a Titleist 913 D2 and LOVE it.  The D3 is going to be a bit less forgiving, being aimed at more skilled golfers.  What's your handicap?  If you don't have pretty dang good skills I see no reason to make your driver harder to hit than it needs to be.

And you say you are "going to be fitted" yet you seem to have already decided on a shaft.  If I may, I would strongly suggest that you allow the fitter to help you make that decision on the range with a ball flight monitor!  Titleist has a large selection of shafts available, and they make a huge difference in how the ball performs.  My fitting was a real eye-opener.  Try the both the D2 and D3.  See which works best for you.

Let the fitter do his/her job, or save your money and just order the club with the shaft you want and pray you guessed right.
