I have trouble on occasion with an arthritic right hip. Plus, I hurt myself doing yardwork heavy lifting in late June.
The doctor thought it might be a hernia, but a Cat-Scan came back negative: Just a strained hip and thigh. I've been doing light workouts to get the muscles warm and loose, but I sometimes have trouble "stepping through" on my full swing.
My irons are stable, but with longer clubs - especially the driver - I'm having left misses that get me in trouble. Motion is like the TV pros: the arms and shoulders outrun the hip turn sometimes.
Do any of you know of set-up adjustments I could make to counteract the tendency to spin-out and miss left?
I would like to play in the club championship in October if I can keep the ball in play. (We have a 20+ HDCP flight)
